Griffith Awuah
about / ghanaian, immigrant &
hobbyist photographer, footballer.

I'm a ghanaian (born & raised) technologist living in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Formally, I studied computer engineering for a few years before quitting.

For the last 7 years, I've worked as a sofware engineer building products for several markets. Recently as a platform product engineer at fly.io

I'm very interested in the humanities. It's actually very easy to nerd-snipe me with discourse related to arts, philosophy and sociology.

For my philosophy, I'm part mechanist & part post-structuralist. I like to develop models to explain my reality. And when a model breaks, I create a new one and try to tie them together.

I like music. Infact, last year I spent 110k mins listening to 6700 songs and 3100 artists. And while I cover alot of breadth, I actually find more alignment with ghanaian hi-life and the experimental fusion of electronic patterns and old african music.

I enjoy 5,10 & 15 km evening runs. I average like 6/km.
