Griffith Awuah
about / ghanaian, immigrant &
hobbyist photographer, footballer.

I'm a ghanaian (born & raised) technologist living in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I speak 4 languages & studied computer engineering in the university.

For the last 7 years, I've worked as a sofware engineer building products for several markets. Recently, I worked as a platform product engineer at fly.io, a cloud platform.

I enjoy acquiring knowledge, and the direct side-effect of this is that I have diverse interests. These days I'm really fascinated by sociology; so I'm consuming alot of literature on how humans organize.

Last year, I spent 110k mins listening to 6700 songs and 3100 artists. I like me some Amakye Dede, Gunna, or Kevin Gates but also the experimental fusion of techno and (old) african music by Henrik Schwarz.

I'm very sportsy. I like going on 5,10 and 15 kilometer runs, averaging like 5mins/km. But I also enjoy watching and playing football.

Politically, I believe in welfare states and free-markets, but I'm also very critical of it's flaws.
